Nowadays, it’s the ever-inquisitive engineers in our ultra-modern R&D centre in Thalheim who are asking the right questions: How can we squeeze even more energy out of our photovoltaic systems? How can we improve the way batteries are charged? How can we create the perfect welding arc?

Of course, efficient research and development activities demand professionalism and leading-edge technology: climate chambers, grid simulators, software and hardware-in-the-loop simulations, testing labs, etc. Our staff in Thalheim has already come up with over 1,000 patents. From ground-breaking research into electro technical principles to the development of hardware and software and the manufacturing of prototypes, we have a wealth of activities that will stretch any professional who wants to put their energy to good use.
